Aditya-L1

Aditya-L1 is India's first dedicated mission to study the Sun, carrying seven instruments to observe the solar corona, chromosphere, and solar wind without the interruptions an Earth orbit would cause.
After launch, it travelled roughly 1.5 million km to the Sun–Earth L1 Lagrange point, entering a halo orbit there in January 2024 — a vantage point that keeps the Sun continuously in view.
