LVM3-M5 / CMS-03

LVM3-M5 carried CMS-03, a multi-band communication satellite built to serve India's landmass and a wide surrounding oceanic region. At 4,410 kg, it became the heaviest communication satellite ever launched from Indian soil.

The satellite separated cleanly into its geosynchronous transfer orbit, continuing LVM3's run as ISRO's workhorse for its heaviest satellite payloads.
